The Sculpture Company of Steve Cox

If you’re looking for something unique to hang on your wall, you may want to take a look at the sculpture company of Steve Cox. His work has a range of themes from early Italian mannerism to land art and even ice culture.

Ice culture

Ice Culture is one of the world’s largest ice producers. They manufacture ice blocks, commercial sculptures, and ice lounges. Their products have been shipped to 58 different countries.

Ice Culture’s ice creations can be seen at events throughout the world. This includes a massive life-sized elephant made from 100 ice blocks and ice slides.

Iceculture’s tools include hand saws, chain saws, grinders, and file and chisel sets. The company also sells custom-made tools for $3,300 each.

For larger projects, a staff of professionals helps assemble the sculpture. The finished product is then transported by refrigerated trucks.

Ice sculptors can make sculptures of all shapes and sizes. Most sculptures are created from large blocks of ice. However, smaller sculptures are often used for parties or special events.

Land art in the American West

The Land Arts program at Texas Tech University is a transdisciplinary field program that uses immersive field experiences to explore human interactions with the landscape. It provides students with the opportunity to explore the natural and cultural heritage of the American West. This includes visits to neolithic sites, pre-contact Native American architecture, man-made industrial structures, and federal infrastructure.

Through this immersive field experience, students learn about the evolving nature of the planet and the ways that humans shape it. By interacting with a network of artists, scientists, and land use researchers, the program helps undergraduate and graduate students enter the field of art & ecology.

The Land Arts program is sponsored by the Lannan Foundation and the University of New Mexico. This program is currently directed by Jeanette Hart-Mann.

Early Italian Mannerist

Early Italian Mannerist sculpture was an attempt to top the achievements of the High Renaissance. The artists of this style experimented with form, color, and light. They also used elongated figures.

These artists studied the works of Michelangelo and Raphael. Some of their subjects were inspired by religious narratives. They often used esoteric symbolism.

After the Sack of Rome in 1527, many Mannerist artists left the city and sought employment elsewhere. One such artist was Jacopo da Pontormo, who studied with Leonardo da Vinci. His work is known as a major contribution to Mannerism.

Although his work is considered early, his influence can be seen in later Mannerist artists. He was a dedicated artist and made sure that the quality of his work was up to par.

Modernist

The modernist sculpture is a form of art created during the first half of the twentieth century. It uses a variety of materials and techniques. It usually includes some kind of movement.

Sculptures can be made from natural materials like stone, wood, or metal or manmade materials such as concrete, steel, or glass. Many sculptures are displayed outdoors. These are often crafted to fit a particular site and context. Art can be an impressive feat of engineering.

Several modernist architects and designers used newer materials and architectural styles to create their works. These include Marcel Breuer and Eileen Gray.

Some modernist artists made some of the best modern sculptures of the 20th century. Examples include David (c.1872), a bronze sculpture in the Musee d’Orsay in Paris.

Steve Cox

A British sculptor, Stephen Cox has created monumental works. He has been featured in the National Gallery of London and several international Biennales.

Cox has made sculptures in stone, wood, and mixed media. He has worked with porphyry in several pieces. His work is reminiscent of Sidney Nolan’s Gallipoli series.

Cox is the son of an English artist. He has a deep knowledge of stone and a contemporary aesthetic. In his work, he blends this with his knowledge of Italian, Egyptian, and Indian traditions.

His studio is located in Mahabalipuram, India. Cox is currently working on a bronze maquette of Katie Price in the temple tradition of India.

Cox’s work combines elements of the ancient Greek and Roman eras with the Renaissance. Using the figure of the torso and shoulders, Cox creates energy.
